Out grown the old LJ? January 18, 2006

I need to start writing again and when I realized this I thought of what actually helped me write last time, and that was the good ol’ Livejournal! A bit outdated and some of it will on be accessible to those on the friends list but none the less a testament to my old self. But really… it’s not like there is any big change between then and now. I suppose on the surface I do a lot less, which can be both good and bad (as many know I do enjoy a low stress lifestyle) but I need to break away from playing WoW so damn much and start preparing for graduation and the future. Oh and I do apologize for the emo title but it’s always my first reaction when I think of blogging and such.
So I have outgrown the LJ of the past and move into this very attractive wordpress blog when I remembered my old co-worker who was a hardcore blogger (although I imagine he would consider it normal
) and thought about setting up the host on my own webspace. But then I remembered, hey I’m graduating soon and won’t have free student webspace so I’ll need to get some of my own… o yeah! But in reality I don’t want to spend the time setting that up at the moment, and probably wouldn’t get a big thrill out of hosting my own blog, at least not yet. So this will do very nicely for now. I’ll probably spend another half and hour or so at work just doing this instead of writing my Italian Paper.
Anyway, before I depart to customize and work on homework I wanted to let any of the Starmen.net folks who manage to find their way here one way or another that I’ll probably keep my LJ active for as long as I can remember so I can start commenting on your journals and such but I’ll just be posting from here on out. Also, the real reason I made the LJ was so I could just post on all your journals after meeting you all, which really ended up helping me so I would write more.
While I’m think of you all I’ll make a brief update. Last you heard I was at school, Jennifer was living with me and I spent a lot of my free time playing video games. All I do now is pretty much go to School (Italian 103 and Shakespeare the later works) and work. I come home to our new kitten Amie (or I think that’s how it’s spelled, pronounced Ah-me) and play World of Warcraft with my friends. School is going fine, my English teacher injured himself this past weekend so no class, in it self a rare occurence but a welcome break, and Italian is going much slower this quarter which is great since I am so bad at it. Jen and I are still together and very much in love. All my friends seem to have graduated or moved out of Seattle except Andrew who is doing graduate work so I don’t like to bother him too much, someone is going to have to provide us with money when we all live in a house together in the hills. Plans for the future… write my Italian Paper do my workbook exercises, get some sleep and maybe shave off this horrible facial hair? And I apologize in advance for all the World of Warcraft posts to come.
